The stock brakes hold up surprisingly well on track days, but rotors and brake pads burn off at an alarming rate. 2 track days on the rotors, 1-2 track days on the brake pads.
I put a request on corvetteforum.com to purchase a second hand big brake kit. I got hold of an Wilwood Aero 6 kit, complete with spare parts and an additional set of new rotors.
